Mr. Rome Thalop is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of The Thalop Group Inc., a nationwide real estate development and investment firm established in 2018. Under his leadership, the firm has become recognized for its innovative approach to residential and commercial development, with a strong focus on projects that foster community growth and long-term positive change. The company is committed to making a meaningful impact through strategic investments and transformative developments that enhance both local communities and their environments. In addition to his leadership at The Thalop Group, Mr. Thalop is the Founder and Trustee of The Thalop Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting initiatives in education, mental health, and community development. Mr. Thalop is also a key figure within the Burmese community, serving as President of the Burmese Community of North America (2022-Present), where he leads efforts to improve access to education and mental health support for the Burmese community in Central Indiana. He is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Burmese American Community Institute (BACI) and has played an instrumental role in advancing the interests of the Chin community in Indiana as a former Board Member of the Chin Community of Indiana and current member of the Board of Advisors for the Chin Youth Organization of North America (CYONA). As the Head of Government Affairs for Chatham Row Advisory, Mr. Thalop leverages his expertise to drive strategic government relations and advocate for policies that have a significant global and community-focused impact. Passionate about education and entrepreneurship, Mr. Thalop frequently speaks at industry events and collaborates with fellow business leaders to share insights on leadership, development, and community-driven initiatives. He is an active philanthropist, supporting numerous charitable organizations and causes that improve the well-being of communities and individuals. Outside of work, Mr. Thalop enjoys spending quality time with his family and engaging in activities that promote mental and physical health.
